Cricket
npower has been one of cricket’s biggest supporters since 2001. Current sponsorships include the npower Test Series, Twenty20 Cup, npower Village Cup, npower Women’s Test series. We are proud to have been part of one of the greatest Ashes Test Series ever, and our involvement in cricket currently extends to the 2009 npower Ashes Series, which promises to see some exciting action!
Wembley Stadium
npower is proud to be the Official Energy Supplier to the new 90,000 seat Wembley Stadium, which is soon to be home to many major sporting events including the FA Cup final, the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final, as well as numerous England home international finals and a variety of live entertainment concerts.
Worcester Wolves Basketball
npower have recently announced a new sponsorship deal with Worcester Wolves Basketball Club.
The deal, which has also been matched on a pound for pound basis by the government's Sportsmatch scheme, will help increase access to basketball facilities and coaching for youngsters in the Worcester area.
Rugby
npower also sponsors two top rugby union teams - Worcester Warriors who play in the Guinness Premiership, and Swansea Neath Ospreys who were Magners league champions in 2006-7.
Worcester City FC
npower are also involved in football sponsorship through their club sponsorship of Worcester City FC. Since February 2007 npower have been proud sponsors of Worcester City, who compete in the Blue Square South League, and have continued their sponsorship for the 2008/2009 season.
