If your consumption is over 5,860,000 kWh per annum, you can choose to be supplied as an interruptible customer.
In return for agreeing to have your gas supplies interrupted up to a maximum number of days (as specified by the gas transporter) during the gas year you can benefit from a lower gas transportation cost.
To be a gas interruptible customer we recommend that you have a secondary fuel supply to maintain essential services on site during a gas interruption.
Interruptions are not optional but determined by the gas transporter and penalties for failure to interrupt can be severe. Your own designated authorised customer contact details should be kept up to date at all times.
