What is it?
encompass is a web-based monitoring and targeting software package to help you analyse and optimise your energy usage.
How does it work?
Your energy consumption data is automatically fed into encompass from either your half hourly or smartmeters. npower will give you a unique customer ID that lets you access encompass through npower.com. You can use this detailed analysis of your business's energy consumption to make informed decisions on improving your energy management, and then see the effect.
How will it help make my business more energy efficient?
encompass loads and stores all the profile data from your half hourly meters or npower smartmeters so you can:
- review and analyse consumption in graphical and tabular formats across your entire portfolio online
- set and measure progress against targets, with alerts and alarms to give you immediate visibility of potential issues and the opportunity to take corrective action
- benchmark your costs and consumption against government standards
- review historic consumption periods and set targets to reduce cost and consumption
- compare open and closed periods, and perform sophisticated energy analysis using Power Factor, Load Factor, Max Demand and kVA vs Availability reports
