An award winning scheme

DSC

In 2007 HTW won the award for ‘Investing in Social Change’ at the Directory of Social Change Awards.

The Directory of Social Change is the largest provider of information and training for the voluntary and community sectors. HTW was shortlisted in the inaugural awards, which recognise individuals, groups, companies and public bodies that make a difference to our society.

The awards were voted for by the charity sector and the general public, so the Health Through Warmth team is especially proud of its achievement. The scheme was judged to have really thought hard about the best way to invest time, skills or money to achieve social change.

BITC

In 2006 & 2005 HTW was awarded Business in the Community 'Big Ticks' in the BUPA Healthy Communities category. Big Ticks are awarded to companies able to demonstrate to assessors a high standard of excellence in the way they organise and integrate responsible business practices, also showing a positive impact both on society and the business.

West Midlands Training Awards

In 2005 HTW received a National Training Award for the development and delivery of excellent training for key community workers.

Energy Institute

Health Through Warmth fought off global competition to win the Energy Institute Community Initiative award 2004. Each year the EI Awards celebrate innovation and the achievement of excellence that is demonstrated on a daily basis by people working in the energy institute.

"Without the help of Health Through Warmth we could still be in a situation where we have no hot water in the family home. We have to be extremely careful with Jessie's condition. It's vital that we keep her strong and in good health so that treatment is effective.

Thanks to the help we've received from Health Through Warmth this is no longer an issue for us".
