The Carbon Cube tour

In the summer of 2007, npower embarked on a Carbon Cube tour- visiting London, Birmingham Manchester and Leeds in July and August.

The Carbon Cube illustrated the impact of one tonne of greenhouse gas emitted into the atmosphere. When you consider British Business alone emits the equivalent of 14.5 million of these cubes into the atmosphere every year, you can see the enormous harm wasted energy is causing to our environment.

Members of the public were encouraged to sign the cube to pledge their business' support to cutting carbon emissions. Around 4000 businesses pledged their support during the tour.
